Lions win in New Zealand
JPR Williams dropped a magnificent goal from near the half-way line at Auckland’s Eden Park to earn the British Lions a 14-14 draw in the fourth and final Test against the All Blacks on Saturday, 14 August. It meant John Dawes’ side won the series 2-1. It was the first, and until 2018 the only, series win by the Lions in New Zealand.
