Sobers hits six sixes in Swansea
The great Garry Sobers completed the feat of hitting six sixes in one over at St Helen’s, Swansea, on 31 August, 1968. The West Indian batsman was playing for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan and hammered Malcolm Nash for a maximum 36 runs off one over. He was caught on the boundary off the fifth ball by Roger Davis, but the fielder fell back over the rope and conceded six runs.
