
Raddy wins in the Thames
The great Paulo Radmilovic added to huge array of titles by winning the English Amateur Swimming Association’s five mile race in the Thames on Saturday, 22 August, 1925. He took just over 65 minutes to complete the five miles and 60 yards course from Kew Railway Bridge to Putney Bridge. Another Welsh swimmer, I McDonald of the Roath Park club, was back in 11th place.
