Happy Birthday Dame Tanni!

Tanni Grey-Thompson, one of British sport’s iconic and inspirational figures, was born on 26 July, 1969. She won 11 Paralympic gold medals. She was born with spina bifida and realised at the age of 13 that Wheelchair Racing was her sport of choice. She became a global champion and was inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame’s Roll of Honour in 1992. To read her full citation click here
