Fenwick stars as Wales win Triple Crown

Steve Fenwick scored 16 points to guide Wales to a 20-16 win over Ireland in Dublin on Saturday, 4 March, 1978, to make it a hat-trick of Triple Crowns. The Bridgend centre kicked four penalties and also scored one of Wales’ two tries at Lansdowne Road in what was a seventh game without defeat to the Irish.Two weeks later the same Welsh side, led by Phil Bennett, completed the Grand Slam with a 16-7 home win over France.
