Newport County pull off another massive giantkilling act in FA Cup
For the second season in a row Michael Flynn inspired his Newport County side to punch well above their weight to knock-out the former Premier League champions Leicester City in the third round of the FA Cup. Goals from Jamille Matt and Pardaig Amond sent the League Two side through to a fourth round clash with Middlesbrough at the Riverside. After a 1-1 draw in the north-east, County did it again by knocking-out the Championship side 2-0. Their reward was a home fifth round draw against Manchester City, which ended in a creditable 4-1 defeat.
