Jeff Jones took 44 wickets in 15 Tests for England from 1964 to 1968 and was the top wicket taker with 15 in the 1965-66 Ashes series. He played for Glamorgan between 1960-69 before a serious elbow injury forced him to retire from professional cricket. His son, Simon Jones, followed in his footsteps in playing for both Glamorgan and England as a fast bowler.
