Aboriginals play in Swansea
The first overseas cricket team to play in Wales were the Australian Aboriginals, who met Gentlemen of Swansea at Bryn-y-Mor Field on 6 and 7 July, 1868. Included in the Swansea side was John Talbot Dilwyn Llewelyn, who took six wickets. He went on to become President of the Welsh Rugby Union. The Aboriginals won the match by an innings and 33 runs.
